Amanda M. Yu

Amanda M. Yu, Esq. is a Partner at O’Cathain Law Group, LLC, in Hackensack, New Jersey, where she practices exclusively family and matrimonial law. Amanda is admitted to practice in New Jersey, the District of New Jersey, and New York. She is a proud lifetime member of APALA-NJ and presently serves as a member of the Board of Directors. Amanda received her B.A. from Rutgers University and her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law. She served as a law clerk to the Honorable Linda E. Mallozzi, J.S.C., Union County Superior Court, Chancery Division, Family Part. Amanda is an active member of the New Jersey State Bar Association (Family Law Section and Young Lawyers Division) and the Bergen County Bar Association (Monthly Dinner Meetings, Diversity in the Profession, Family Law, and Membership Committees).

Amanda also serves on the Family Law Executive Committee, and is an Acting Associate Managing Editor of the New Jersey Family Lawyer. In addition to her involvement in the State and local Bar Associations in New Jersey, Amanda is deeply involved as an alumna of Fordham Law. She serves on the Executive Committee and as Chair of the New Attorneys Division of the Fordham Law Alumni Attorneys of Color (“AAC”) affinity group. Amanda is also one of the two Co-Chairs of the Recent Graduate Committee. Amanda is proud to have been selected by a vote of her peers as one of Bergen County’s Top Lawyers for 2022 and featured in Bergen Magazine. She has also most recently been included in the Super Lawyers 2023 New Jersey Rising Star list by Thomson Reuters.
