Amos Kim

Director

Amos Kim is an accomplished commercial litigation and bankruptcy attorney at Baker & Hostetler LLP, with a distinguished record of service, integrity, and leadership in the legal profession. He currently serves as counsel to the trustee in the liquidation of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC, one of the most high-profile financial fraud recoveries in U.S. history. In this capacity, he leads litigation efforts to recover billions of dollars for defrauded investors.

 

A U.S. Navy submarine veteran, Amos brings military discipline and technical acumen to his practice, along with a deep commitment to public service. His professional background includes roles as a financial advisor with Merrill Lynch and as a systems engineer and technical advisor at General Electric, experiences that inform his multidisciplinary approach to the law. He is also a holder of a New Jersey cannabis business license along with his wife.

 

A passionate advocate for underrepresented attorneys and law students, Amos is honored to serve on the Board of Directors of APALA-NJ, where he works to uplift and empower Asian Pacific American attorneys and law students across New Jersey. He is especially committed to mentoring the next generation of APA lawyers and strengthening the organization’s community engagement initiatives.

 

Amos holds a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Liberty University. He resides in Bergen County with his wife of 12 years and their two daughters, Eden and Elia.
