Michelle Yang

Secretary

Michelle Yang is a business immigration attorney who advises companies on nonimmigrant visa matters for their foreign national workforce. Her practice focuses primarily on employment-based nonimmigrant visas, including H-1B, TN, E-3, O-1, L-1, and related work authorization issues.


Michelle works closely with employers to develop compliant, practical immigration strategies that support business operations while navigating complex regulatory requirements. She regularly assists companies with petition preparation and filing, change of employer and amendment cases, visa compliance, and strategic planning for foreign professionals at all stages of employment.


Michelle received her J.D. from Rutgers Law School – Newark and was awarded a Certificate in Corporate and Business Law, which recognizes students who have satisfied core competency in the legal frameworks governing corporate formation, structure, and governance. During her time at Rutgers Law School, Michelle was also the Publication Editor of the Rutgers Computer & Technology Law Journal, and Secretary for the Rutgers Asian/Pacific-American Law Students Association (APALSA).


After graduation, Michelle was a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Mark P. Ciarrocca, P.J.Cv. and the Honorable Joseph P. Perfilio, J.S.C. (Ret.) in Union County, New Jersey. Upon finishing her clerkship, Michelle practiced in a few areas of law, including labor and employment, municipal, and business immigration.


Michelle is a graduate of Rutgers University – Newark, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Psychology, summa cum laude, and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
