Rasmeet K. Chahil

Rasmeet is counsel at Lowenstein Sandler. She represents clients in high-stakes commercial litigation, as well as internal investigations and white collar criminal defense matters. Rasmeet also has significant experience litigating all phases of bankruptcy matters, including the investigation of potential claims and causes of action through Rule 2004 examinations and the commencement of adversary proceedings on behalf of liquidating trusts.
Strongly committed to pro bono work, Rasmeet has obtained asylum for a father/son pair separated at the border; and secured multiple final restraining orders for domestic violence victims through the firm’s partnerships with Kids in Need of Defense and Partners for Women and Justice. She has also successfully argued an appeal of a final restraining order before the New Jersey Appellate Division.
Rasmeet obtained her Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and her Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School.
